Road to Gameday Restaurant Week: December 4 -13, 2020

 


In celebration of Super Bowl LV, the Business Connect program is hosting a one-of-a-kind restaurant week. Calling on all friends and foodies, “Road to Gameday” Restaurant Week will highlight 50 diverse-owned restaurants in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County.

“Road to Gameday” Restaurant Week is our commitment to supporting the needs of our community. A portion of the proceeds from “Road to Gameday” Restaurant Week ($1 per meal) will be donated to Feeding Tampa Bay in support of the fight against hunger in Tampa Bay.



Restaurants must meet the following minimum criteria and complete the application process to be considered for participation in Super Bowl LV “Road to Gameday” Restaurant Week.

1. Restaurant must be 51% women, minority, veteran, or LGBTQ+ owned businesses AND be located in Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco County.

2. The restaurant must have positive reviews and high satisfaction levels from the public on dining review sites (i.e. Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google, etc.).

3. Restaurant’s primary revenue must be derived from dining, not entertainment or other amenities.

4. Restaurant must offer full-service dining at least five nights per week.

5. Restaurant must complete the application process to be considered for inclusion into the program, including submitting sample prix-fixe menus.



  • Offer two prix-fixe dining options (appetizer and entrée or appetizer, entrée, dessert) for the pre-determined price (tax and gratuity not included) throughout the program, which runs from December 4 – 13, 2020.
  • Provide customers with a minimum, to-be-determined value for the set price. The value of the food offered is based on the Restaurant’s current standard dinner menu.
  • Offer the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV “Road to Gameday” Dining menu during all dinner hours, with the exception of restaurant buyouts and catered events.
  • “Road to Gameday” must be the only fixed-price dinner offer during the duration of the program, which is December 4 – 13, 2020.
  • Dishes for all courses will be from the Restaurant’s current standard dinner menu. All “Road to Gameday” menu portions will be the same standard-sized portions (including side dishes, sauces, etc.) offered to customers on the Restaurant’s standard dinner menu.
  • Submit a copy (scan, PDF image or mailed in) of the full standard dinner menu with pricing visible and with the “Road to Gameday” appetizer, entrée and dessert selections circled to Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV team for review. The “Road to Gameday” menu must be approved by Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV team before, and as a condition to, Restaurant’s inclusion in the program.
  • Provide Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV team with all other reasonably required assets (photos, logos, photo release forms, etc.) by the predetermined data so the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV can appropriately market the restaurant as part of the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” dining week program.
  • Contribute two (2) gift certificates, each valid for one (1) complimentary Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” dinner, by a predetermined date, to be used to promote the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” Program. Does not include tax and gratuity.
  • Give Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV the right to use your image, logo and name in promotional opportunities.
  • Commit to attending a Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” kick-off meeting to ensure you are set up for success in the program.
  • Commit to promoting your restaurant’s participation in Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” restaurant week where possible (i.e., linking to TampaBayLV.com on the website, posting on social media, sending e-newsletters to the database, etc.).
  • Proactively provide the “Road to Gameday” menu to all dinner guests during the “Road to Gameday” period. The menu will have the “Road to Gameday” logo and charity information as provided by Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV.
  • Ensure that front of house staff (hosts, servers, etc.) are aware of the program, the restaurant’s unique Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV's “Road to Gameday” menu, and the charity component of “Road to Gameday”.
  • Track the number of “Road to Gameday” dinners sold and donate $1 of each “Road to Gameday” dinners sold to Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV, who will then donate the proceeds to its charity partner, Feeding Tampa Bay.
  • Within 10 days of the conclusion of the program, report the total number of “Road to Gameday” dinners sold to Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV. Upon receipt of invoice(s) from Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV, submit payment via check made payable to Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV. Checks should be received at Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV within 30 days of the conclusion of the program. Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV will submit 100% of the payment received from the Restaurant to the “Road to Gameday” charitable partner.
Failure to comply with the program requirements may result in termination from the “Road to Gameday” restaurant week.

Business Connect is a signature initiative of the National Football League. In partnership with the Super Bowl Host Committee, Business Connect is charged with developing links with diverse area suppliers to contracting opportunities related to the Super Bowl.

The program's intent is to provide networking and business development opportunities to encourage greater business success for each participant. Suppliers participating in the Business Connect program are not guaranteed to be awarded work for Super Bowl but will be given full access to the program development opportunities listed above.
