​Getting around Tampa Bay is a breeze – whether traveling by wheels, water, or your own two feet. The Tampa Riverwalk runs 2.7 miles through the heart of downtown and is reserved strictly for pedestrian traffic. Downtown is Tampa Bay’s central transportation hub with several options available throughout the week and weekend. Think outside of the car! Get to your destination quickly via HART’s new streamlined bus network, TECO Line Streetcar, bike path routes, complete sidewalk network, water taxi, Downtowner ride service, taxi, e-scooter, and/or rideshare (Uber/Lyft).

Downtown Tampa

For getting around the Super Bowl LV downtown campus, the Tampa Riverwalk, made possible by Friends of the Riverwalk, a nonprofit organization working in tandem with the City of Tampa, provides a walkable path that connects the key venues of Super Bowl LV Week. Tampa International Airport

Tampa Bay’s got game! We’re ready to welcome players, coaches and fans to the biggest game of the year. From wheels down to touchdown, we’ve got you covered with the latest information on Super Bowl LV activities, navigating your way around Tampa Bay and how to ensure a smooth arrival and departure from Tampa International Airport. Shared Electric Scooter

The City of Tampa has deployed e-scooters throughout the city with providers Bird, Lime, and Spin. The e-scooters are available for rent via credit card and pricing varies by the minute and by the provider. While riders can take trips all over the city, there are a few no-ride zones, including the Riverwalk, Bayshore Boulevard, Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, and East Seventh Avenue in Ybor City. Coast Bikeshare Program

Just use a bike when you need one. There are 300 bikes scattered among 30 hubs available with a daily, monthly or annual membership.

Cross Bay Ferry

Skip traffic hassles and enjoy a beautiful ride across Tampa Bay aboard the spacious, comfortable Provincetown III. HART & TECO Line Streetcar

Streetcar service

HART operates the TECO Line Streetcar System, a FREE 2.7-mile streetcar line serving the dining and entertainment destinations in historic Ybor City, the Channel District (including Sparkman Wharf) and Downtown Tampa. Streetcar service hours are being extended to accommodate Super Bowl LV visitors.

Monday – Wednesday: 7am – 11pm
Thursday: 7am – 1am
Friday: 7am – 2am
Saturday : 8:30am – 2am
Sunday: 8:30am – 1am

Bus Service

Looking for transportation options for Julian B. Lane Park to enjoy Super Bowl Experience presented by Lowe's? Here are a couple of options: HART Route 7 and HART Route 10. Please note - these routes will still face detours due to Super Bowl road closures. 

Pirate Water Taxi

Pirate Water Taxi offers daily tours of Tampa with 14 stops located along our route near attractions, museums, restaurants & parks! Simply buy tickets at our home dock (Stop #7 – Convention Center), online or after boarding the taxi at any of the stops located throughout Downtown Tampa. Once purchased, you will receive a Pirate Water Taxi wristband which allows you to hop on and off the taxi at any stop for unlimited rides – all day! These wristbands also give you discounts with a number of venues located on the route as part of our Pirate Perks Program. Downtown Rideshare Vehicles Information

The following areas in downtown along the Riverwalk have been designated as Rideshare Pick Up Zones and will be geofenced to allow for easy access for all guests:

  • Julian B. Lane: Southbound Doyle Carlton Drive between West Laurel Street and West Fortune Street
  • Tampa Convention Center/Amalie Arena: Eastbound Channelside Drive between South Florida Avenue and South Morgan Street (just North of the Pam Iorio Parking Garage)

Super Bowl Shuttle

To help fans avoid traffic and move quickly around the Super Bowl Experience presented by Lowe’s campus, the City of Tampa and Tampa Downtown Partnership have teamed up to provide the FREE Super Bowl Shuttle. The ADA-compliant shuttle service will stop near 9 popular points of interest throughout downtown and Tampa Heights. The Super Bowl Shuttle will operate February 3-6, 2021 from 11am to 11pm with service every 15 minutes. Masks are required at all times when riding on the Super Bowl Shuttle. Traffic Updates

Stay up-to-date with the latest traffic information and avoid traffic congestion with the Florida Department of Transportation 511 Traveler Information System. The 511 system provides information on all of Florida’s interstates, toll roads and other major metropolitan roadways, such as I-275, I-4 and I-75.
